Meridian Trust Federal Credit Union will never request non-public personal information via text message. If such a text requesting non-public information is received, please call Meridian Trust Federal Credit Union immediately at 1.800.726.5644.

Meridian Trust Federal Credit Union will never rent or sell your cell phone number to any third party. By opting into the Meridian Trust Federal Credit Union’s text messaging service, you are agreeing to receive SMS messages specific to the SMS service. We will use information you provide to transmit text messages. We reserve the right at all times to disclose any information that is necessary to satisfy any law, regulation or government request, to avoid liability, or to protect our rights or property.

As with any communication with our members, we take security and privacy seriously. Your text message information is stored securely and limited to the individual(s) with whom you are having the text messaging dialog with, along with their managers for quality assurance.

Message Frequency

For loan, account or other inquiries that are initiated by the member, the frequency will not be limited to ensure proper member communication.

A maximum of six (6) promotion, events or other important Meridian Trust news messages a month may be sent unless emergency circumstances constitute extra messages to be sent.


There is no direct cost from Meridian Trust Federal Credit Union to the end user for the use of our mobile text message service. However, message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier or service provider.

How to Opt-Out

To opt-out of receiving text messages from a specified Meridian Trust Federal Credit Union number, please reply STOP to the number that has been communicating with you.
